Spotted Pig

Just came back from doing shoots for our pitch. Hoohoo. Shoutout to all spotted pigs. We rock. And yes Ash baby, I love you to bits. You're the bravest soul alive. It was really productive, smooth and chop-chop. Just the way I like it. Producing the radio ads tmr will be so much fun. -Leaps-

On another note althogether, I've been having a problem with classes. I can't for the life of me wake up and be on time for classes! Ugh. I think I on the verge or am going to be debarred. Please, I will mop the whole of Blk 53, the atrium and SIM for a month as long as I don't get into any trouble. :-(

I am tired.
Yup.
I can't wait for CA's 3 day fiesta.
I need a little magic in my life.
A little organic, mindblowing, humbling thingy.
Hmm.

Your Game of Choice

She closed her eyes as fingers trailed down her face,
like tendrils of unspoken secrets,
kept away in crannies of intertwined green
while her sin loomed in his eden.

She grasped the ropes of his quiet as she stumbled
along her weak meanderings,
rendering illusions of wretched triumph
illuminating her w-retched loss.

She wounds from shards of murky sympathy
suffocating in his indulgence
silenced by her box of Pandora's secrets
as she ceased to Be.

Things I Should Be Doing

1. Graduating
2. Working on the cookbook
3. Working on our stellar Ad campaign
4. Deciding which university to head to
5. Praying
6. Being grounded in faith
7. Fucking It.
8. Spending more time with people whom I haven't been spending time with
9. Getting over overrated sex
10. Getting well

Non stop hits on Perfect 10 played "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge and "If I Aint Got You" by Alicia Keys in sucession while I clasped my hands. The words never came so easily, never flowed so quickly before. No, I did not experience any mystical Incendium Amoris nor can I say that I have suddenly derived direction. But what I do know and feel is the sudden stilling and peace that only He can grant. The quiet that settles amongst the pews of contemplation. Its a refreshing change from weariness. As of now, I am rendered a lucidity that I have been mucking about for.
At least its a start.
Let's ride the 4 weeks.

Ugh
Yes, you heard me. UGH. We're into week 12 of the semester and I have been ill for a week. I hate it. Its not funny when you wake up in the morning feeling like a) You've died and got revived b) You're going to die c) You're dead-ish. I've developed the voice of a Demi Moore-husky-gone-wrong poseur. My phlegm looks funky and I've got too much fluids coming out of my nose, not to mention that my tummy feels wonky, very wonky. So excuse me while I hide under the covers. UGH.
There's Champagne Campaign happening later and I have NO idea what to cook for these hungry people. I hope I dun pass any germs through my food to them :-( UGH.

What a Difference a Day Makes

What a difference a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain

Or rather some time. The days spent staying overnight in the studios was a blast. Great people, beautiful music, and an alarming amount of food. I am thankful to be a part of this Audiobook. To those who stayed there throughout, you rock my socks. To those who studied Medilaw on the cold floors of the studios, its over! This semester has been a huge whirlwind of madness. I am constantly afraid that I have taken too much on my plate and that I won't be able to cope. All fingers crossed till graduation, no doubt.

Maestro!

God knows what the two of them were trying to do while churning out melodies.

Mel and her -shem- sticks

Germaine trying to look professional, haha...whoops

The lovely FSV boys who were calm as hell. (The camera did not catch the mass commies yelling and shrieking in panic ant every anal thing behind)

The lovely Vanessa Fernandez (With a little too much Redbull in her system)

Desmond and his mineral water. (He claims this will help transform him before he leaves for Havard)

Liang with shakey hands after too much of guitar strumming

Yes much better.

Cuz this life is too short to live it just for you
But when you feel so powerless what are you gonna do
So say what you want
Say what you want - Nelly Furtado

If the process is as important as its product, then my meanderings for the past few months mean volumes to me. When I look back in retrospect, when "Ahead is all we had" was all we had. We chanted it, revelled in it, made believe that we would work on it. We drank ourselves silly, smoked a tad too much and cried ourselves over. We threw ourselves into work, chilled like there was no tomorrow and refused to go home.

"There are some things in life that cannot be helped. But this letting Paul haunt you and your life is not one of them." - Eunice Tan at the Esplanade last week.

Its time to say Enough. And it really is. I think I have allowed myself ample time and space to indulge in my pain and whatever paranoia I had, but there comes a point where I know that the day which I predicted that I would tire of all these, has come. I've been played "like em lego bricks" but its all good, because I am happier. No jitters and pangs. No limiting myself to act, talk or wear things that I couldn't previously.
Its all about fun. Its all about livin it up. Its all about living it chilly. Its all about living it large. Its all about living it lavish and living it nappy, aiight.

Soiled Undergarments and Green Ornaments

My resolve to retain any form of sanity and propriety in public wanes thin sometimes. ;-)

I'm comin' up so you better you better get this party started

Get this party started - Pink

The next thing I'm going to etch in my multi-coloured journal are psychadelic proclamations of my new resolve. Oh and before I forget, I presume that there is little or none Writing (let's not even go as far as to mention Creative writing) Memory retention, Fact-checking skills taught at a certain -ahem- watered down instituition. After all, Emily Dickinson did pen "I felt a funeral in my brain" and not "I heard a funeral in my head". Sacrilegious, tsk.
